The Importance of Self Awareness (Video)

We’ve been on a Gary Vaynerchuk terror here at Attitudes 4 Innovation, mainly because the guy is so dang awesome and intelligent. And I don’t mean intelligent as in he knows a ton of stuff, I mean intelligent as in he know THE RIGHT stuff and puts it into action.

Gary Vee is not the smartest guy in the world. He openly admits that he sucks at 99% of the things in the world. But he does know one thing: He is really fricken good at just a handful of things and he goes all in on those things.

The things that Gary Vee is good at is irrelevant. The point to take from the video below is that YOU are good at just a handful of things. LIKE REALLY GOOD. The best. And instead of trying to be like so many different people and trying to mimic successful people, simply because they are successful, is not necessarily the best strategy.

First, it is important to find the things that you are good at, and them find the things that you absolutely suck at. Avoid the things you suck at (or delegate), and put all your time and effort into what you are good at.

I think the below video will make perfect sense to you and get you thinking…

I totally agree Alex! This has been a common thread between a few successful entrepreneurs as of late…in The Entrepreneur Roller Coaster, Darren Hardy talks about the importance of “being the dumbest one in the room” by bringing on people who are better than you. Entrepreneurship is about doing what you’re the best at, building relationships, and then outsourcing everything else to people who are the best in those areas.

Developing our strengths, so that we are masterful at the things we have passion and zeal for is very important. Great reminder for those that don’t know 🙂

Here’s one it just crossed my mind, if you think of someone and that someone thinks of you, HOW CAN THAT BE IT THERE IS NO CONNECTION IN BETWEEN?
