1) Be Confident
This is the number one problem with female entrepreneurs! Their vision and enthusiasm seems to diminish with every setback or demoralizing comment. Their faith falters and they eventually lose hope. A mentor doesn’t always have to be someone who you met only once and have to pay a fee to. It could be anyone in your family, a friend, or even someone you met online. Finding a mentor online is easier said than done, but with the right networking skills, it shouldn’t be a problem – and all entrepreneurs must possess those!
3) Delegate and Do it Right
You might pass off as solopreneur with an aim to just get by. However, you are bound to face a dead end at some point. They say two heads are better than one and given that the advantages in hiring exceed the disadvantages this is no less than a fact.
It is also nearly impossible to be good at everything. Evidently, it is better to hire somebody to perform those tasks which just aren’t your cup of tea. It is also extremely important to hire just the right people and build the right team in order to keep moving in an upward direction.
Demonstrate your need to fulfill a skill-gap the moment you hire a member. Make sure you set clear expectations and are honest and upfront since Day 1 to avoid disappointment and disputes in future.
4) Keep Searching for Leads
Never stop searching for new leads by leveraging your old as well as new connections. Always keep a lookout for potentials. This could be a potential area of business, a potential customer, or a potential key talent to hire.
Industry groups, events, and online networking platforms are a great place to begin. Again don’t limit your connections and sources to just a few channels. 5) Keep Trying
