Let’s take a look at what’s happening to the young people of our world in this day and age. College tuition has skyrocketed over the last decade, causing college kids to take out massive loans for degrees that they are not even sure they are passionate about. The job market is not in the best shape, as less companies are hiring young, inexperienced workers, leaving many college grads out of luck and landing on their parents couch.
Meanwhile, a new phase is entering America and sweeping the nation: The Entrepreneurs. It’s amazing how the word “entrepreneurship” has become a cool fad over the last decade or so, and more and people set goals and dreams of starting the next silicon valley hot startup and sweeping the nation with their creations. While most individuals will not make billions in Northern California, the opportunities for starting your own business have become endless, especially as the internet and mobile world take off full-throttle.
As the majority of young people still sit at home, applying for jobs and hoping to land a gig in corporate America as they enter their mid-twenties, an ever-growing number of college grads are following in the footsteps of some pioneers who have paved the way to the American dream; that is, starting your own business. And the fact of the matter is, it has never been easier. The information and stepping stones for launching a company are there for you to take, it’s simply a matter of finding the right mentors to learn from and then taking action on your own ideas.
Now, this can be more challenging than it looks, as the internet has not only blossomed countless superstars of business, but also has allowed many “fake-preneurs” claiming to be experts of business to enter the stage, when in reality these people have never made a dime or created anything. With that being said, I’d like to shorten the research curve and share with you 5 amazing entrepreneurs and experts of business that you should follow as a recent college grad, if you want to successfully start your own business…
